I have just updated A2DP Enabler, an application which enabled A2DP profile on original iPhone 2G. he primary goal for this update is to disable it for non iPhone 2G devices.
The update is also resolves a problem with "paired devices" list which sometimes doesn't populated properly. The update is optional, if A2DP works properly on your device you do not need to update but shouldn't hurt at the same time :)
Requires original iPhone 2G with iPhone OS 3.0 or higher. It doesn't work on 2.2.1 firmware and never will be.
A2DP Enabler can be downloaded from apt.dmytro.me repository

Just a sugestion. As after it is enabled you don`t need it laying around anymore, could you make this app as if it were only in the settings? Not apearing as an app anymore.

Works great on my Sony Mex BT3700 car radio. I can stream and call through this radio with my iPhone 2G!
Only if someone is calling me, i have to switch the audio output to my carradio bluetooth device.

Full AVRCP support in iOS 4.1 announced. Would you upgrade yiur A2DP enabler?
Using Jabra Stone, everything works fine except occational intermittance. Sound stops briefly and then resumes. Is it an application bug or some inharent iPhone problem? Mine is 2g, os 3.1.1

Cydia source is NOT working!

I can confirm the recently the Curia source is not working. I just recently updates to 3.1.3 and I added the regular repo. And it is not working. I updates to 3.1.2 about 4 months ago. And back then the repo worked flawlessly. Please fix. I really am thankful for all you hard work. :3

What worked for me:
If you search for the app and don't have it, you probably need to add the repository in Cydia, Sources > Edit > Add
If you try to add http://apt.dmytro.me/ and it fails, try http://APT.DMYTRO.ME and see if that works.

by the way, sony bt521g works perfect. and if the app closes after launch - disable backgrounder
another tip for all of u. once u enable the profile for ur headset u can turn backgrounfer back on.
also, if u'r listening to audio from internet and u want to turn off the screen - open ipod and put it on pause, then switch to ur browser or whatever.

founded via gogle A2DPEnabler.deb
sended via bluetooth to iphone (iBluenova app(from Cydia)) and use iFile to place .deb to /var/root/Media/Cydia/AutoInstall
after reboot and done.
i`m make this trick on 2 iphones. on 1st iphone needed 2 reboot`s to instal this deb. 2nd iphone afer first reboot setuped normaly this deb.
